About us

Welcome to NKA SOWETO!

At NKA, we’re committed to empowering disadvantaged communities to experience improved health, well-being, social equality, and sustainable prosperity. Founded as a nonprofit organization in the public interest, we’ve grown from a small team of passionate volunteers into a dedicated group working tirelessly to make a difference.

What we do

NKA Soweto empowers communities by addressing health, social, and economic challenges. We provide HIV testing, TB screening, harm reduction services, and drug awareness campaigns. Through skills development programs, we equip youth with tools for sustainable livelihoods. Our initiatives also include community dialogues and collaborations with partners to create lasting impact and drive social change.

Projects

Every project we undertake is aimed at improving lives, reducing inequalities, and fostering sustainable development in Soweto and beyond. Together, we are building a healthier, more empowered community.

There is a lot that happens around the world we cannot control. We cannot stop earthquakes, we cannot prevent droughts, and we cannot prevent all conflict, but when we know where the hungry, the homeless and the sick exist, then we can help.
